1.Overview

1.1.Product Features

SC6101 traffic controller (hereinafter referred as the traffic controller) is developed by Hisense TransTech Co,.Ltd  independently, which has been the advanced-level centralized and coordinated traffic controller in the industry.

The SC6101 traffic controller fully conforms to the national transportation ITS communication protocol of America and conforms to the national standard "GB 25280-2016 traffic controller" of the People's Republic of China.

SC6101traffic controller is a kind of traffic controller based on 32 bit microprocessors. It has the strong control and communication functions, and its hardware circuit and software design adopt the concept of modular design.

SC6101 provides a variety of control ways, such as the flash, all flashing red, turning off the lights, setting period, FREE, adaptive induction, Coordinated induction, pedestrian crossing control, dynamic program selection, system control and other control modes.

1. In the absence of central control, the control is conducted through time interval of the traffic controller;

The signal continuously and accurately capture a large number of field traffic data and transfer real-time data to the control center, when the controller operates. The control center collects, stores and processes the traffic data to be directly used for traffic control and to provide quantitative basis for accurate traffic dispatching and city traffic planning. At the same time, the flash and red and manual stepping control emergency command can be conducted through the operation of the manual control panel of signal machine.

2.1.Structure Features and Appearance Features

2.1.1. Structure features of Traffic Controllers  

The machine body of traffic controller is mainly composed of a control box, a power distribution protection part and a cabinet. The control box mainly comprises a main control unit, a phase unit, vehicle unite, power unite  and a power supply unit, wherein each unit is connected by a backboard. Each unit indicates the working state through the LED, so that it is easy to install and maintain.

The traffic controller adopts the aluminum cabinet, the surface of the cabinet adopt the electrostatic spraying outdoor powder and it has the independent the power supply unite and other function module.

2.2.Main Control functions

2.2.1. Remote updating function

Updating the program via the web through the internet.

2.2.2. Updating via USB disk

Updating the program of traffic controller by the USB disk 

2.2.3. Failure alarm when the lights of traffic controller extinguish

The traffic controller can send the failure alarm when the red light, green light and the amber light extinguish.

Vehicle plate coil can evaluate the information of circuit failures and can issue the alarm timely.

2.2.6. Taking over the phase via the phase plate 

When the main board fails or the main board is repaired and changed, the first phase board can temporarily control the takeover function.

2.2.7. Monitoring function(optional)

It can detect the temperature, humidity, smoke, water level, voltage and current in the environment of the traffic controller. When the abnormal things happen, it can issue the alarms.

2.2.8. Periodic control

The phase signal output is performed in accordance with a preset control scheme. During the operation, the scheme, the length of the cycle, the ratio of the green signal and the phase sequence do not change according to the condition of the road (such as flow rate).

2.2.9. Multi period control

In different periods, the traffic state of intersection is different. In order to achieve the better control effect, different control schemes should be set up.

2.2.10. Coordinating and controlling via the wireless way

It is a line of coordinated control, and there is no communication signal among the traffic controllers and it requests the time to keep the complete synchronization and the same time interval can be set to conduct the Coordinating and controlling via the wireless way. The traffic controller can be coordinated through setting the phrase difference in the junctions.

2.2.11.  Inductive control

The time of green light can be changed according to the traffic data detected from the detectors.

2.2.12. Self-adaptation control

According to the condition of traffic flow, the traffic controller parameters are adjusted automatically online and in real time adapt to the control mode in order to meet the traffic flow change. Single point optimization and bottleneck control are included.

2.2.13. Pedestrian passing through the zebra crossing two times in section of the road

In the flash control mode, the channel corresponding to each signal source conduct the flashing according to the preset flash modes and frequency.

Under the all red control, the channels corresponding to each signal source output the red signal.

2.2.16.  Control the operation of turning off the lights

Under the operation of turning off the lights, the channels responding to each signal source do not have signal output and each signal unite represent the state of turning off the lights.

2.2.17. Step by step control

Step by step control means that each phase does not conduct the clearance according to the preset phase sequence and time, but the state of clearance of each phase is controlled artificially.

2.2.18. The enablement of traffic controller

When the traffic lights are powered on, it starts according to the following timing:

Each signal group shall enter a flash signal with a duration of at least 10 seconds.

After the end of each flash signal, signal group can enter the red signal for 5 seconds;

After the startup sequence is over, the signal will be operated according to the preset program.

2.2.19. Phase transition sequence

The phase signal conversion sequence can be flexibly varied by setting different parameters.

2.2.20. Man-machine interface, intersection status display, parameter configuration function (optional) 

You can search and monitor the status of the intersection through the man-machine interface, and simply download the parameters of the intersection.

3.1.1.Insulation resistance

The insulation resistance of the traffic controller is greater than 10MΩ.

3.1.2.Withstanding voltage

1500V or 50Hz voltage is applied between the power supply electrode or other conductive circuits connected with the power supply electrode, the cabinet and other parts which are easy to be touch. And there is no breakdown phenomenon.

3.1.3.Electromagnetic Immunity 

The traffic controller does not show any electrical disturbances under certain electromagnetic disturbances such as static discharge, rapid transient electric pulse, surge and short duration voltage interruption.
